About Us
Beach Glass Boutique was started by Debbie McClelland of Norwell, Massachusetts in 2006. Debbie, a 1980 graduate of Smith College, has collected sea glass for more than 40 years, primarily along the east coast shoreline. She designs all of her unique jewelry pieces using pure, unaltered sea glass. With the advent of recycling in the 70's and the switch from glass to plastic bottles, sea glass has become increasingly rare and more coveted. Sea glass items created by Beach Glass Boutique include wire-wrapped pendants, sea glass earrings, charm bracelets, sea glass key chains, bookmarks, wine charms (set of 6 in assorted beach colors), framed mirrors embellished with sea glass, and much more. Debbie also designs necklaces, bracelets, and earrings using Swarovski crystals, glass fusion pendants, freshwater pearls, and fashion beads. Debbie McClelland works out of her home-based studio in Norwell. Studio visits and boutique shopping are available by appointment only (781-659-7142).
